Juicers - Types of Juicers and Buying Guides

There are two types of juicers I recommend:The Masticating Juicers and the Centrifugal Juicers.

The Masticating Juicers:
The juice is first extracted through a crushing stage and, before the pulp is ejected, it is then squeezed during a second pressing stage; resulting in more juice, and extremely dry pulp.High yield and low waste.Basically, a masticating juicer works at low speeds and with no spinning action, it tends to juice many vegetables more efficiently. The benefit of a masticating juicer is that it requires less vegetables, in many situations, to create more juice

The Centrifugal Juicers:
Centrifugal juicers work at high speeds, tend to be a little more noisy. It is not recommended for soft fruits such as bananas and berries and leafy vegetables such as parsley, spinach and wheatgrass.Centrifugal type juicers first grate the fruit or vegetable into a pulp, and then uses centrifugal force to push the pulp against a strainer screen by spinning it at a very high RPM.
